For golf enthusiasts interested in some of the world’s best instructors, they need look no further than Rick Valentine. The Dubai born, England raised instructor has an impressive resume that began with his stint as an athlete before attaining a degree in sport science. Upon graduation, Valentine began working in the United States at the San Diego Golf Academy to hone his own golf game, while working to achieve his associate’s degree in golf complex management. From there, Rick Valentine moved to Hong Kong where he pursued a professional career in golf for three years. While there, Valentine represented his country for several international events, including the World Amateur Team Championships, the Asia Pacific Team Championships, the South East Asia Team Championships, and many more. His noted wins include the China Amateur in 2000, as well as a stint as a leading amateur in the Hong Kong Open in 2001 and 2002. Rick brings considerable global experience to golf lessons having represented his country in various international events. With Rick possessing both Level 1 and Level 2 ASQ golf coaching certificates he is clearly a well rounded teacher who can offer beginners, intermediates and pro's; coaching of a very high standard.

Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott joined the Professional Golfers Association in 2004 since then  has coached throughout the country of Scotland, racking up hours upon hours instructing golfers of various levels and playing abilities, including those competing on the professional level and on the European Professional and Challenge Tours. In July 2014, Ryan Scott was awarded the PGA Advanced Professional status by the British Professional Golfers Association (PGA) for his accomplishments and experience teaching golf and commitment to professional excellence. As part of his coaching qualifications and continued professional development, Scott completed the Golf Machines Golf Stroke Engineering Master’s qualification, thus joining a small elite group of coaches in Scotland to have achieved this high honor. In September of 2014, Ryan Scott completed his Post Graduate diploma in sports coaching through the University of Birmingham, and also completed the new UKCC Level 3 qualifications through the Professional Golfers Association. Currently, Scott has transferred on to an MSc in sports coaching and in February of 2015, he has begun coach education work for the Professional Golfers Association in Scotland; he works as a tutor and assessor, aiding new coaches to achieve their PGA Level 1 qualifications. With such a diverse resume and his ability to connect with both amateurs and the burgeoning professional, Ryan Scott is an instructor capable of providing golf lessons for those from all playing ranges.

Richard Pickard

Richard Pickard

Richard Pickard previously worked at Loretto until 2008, when he left to gain invaluable experience as an amateur playing throughout Britain. Upon returning to Loretto in 2012 as a golf assistant, Pickard started working with the golf academy in an effort to maintain its competitive success while diligently pursuing his PGA Coaching qualification. Richard's dedication to golf goes without saying and it is his passion and drive for the sport that has gained him a loyal following among his students. For those that are new to the sport of golf and are looking for an instructor that knows the ins and outs of the game, Richard Pickard is the perfect way to receive an introduction into golf and fine-tune an assortment of strokes.
