A mere 5 years later, Paul was accepting international honours for the Scottish Boys’ Team.

His ambition, drive, and love for the sport pushed him forward, giving him the opportunity to represent Scotland, Ireland, and Great Britain for a number of years, when finally it all came to fruition in 1987. This was the year that Paul Girvan would win the Walker Cup at Sunningdale Golf Club, which would lead him on a path to turning pro in 1989. He has been aiding and instructing through King's Links since 1990, and has worked with some of the greatest in the game. Andrew is currently coach to Walker Cup player and winner James Byrne, and would be a wealth of knowledge to anyone.
